Cleaning Cartridge

Cleaning cartridges are necessary if you want to continue running your tape drive system smoothly without glitches. We recommend that you use a cleaning tape to clean your tape drive at least twice a week (or when the cleaning LED or lamp lights up) for regular users and more than that depending on how often you use your tape drives. Cleaning cartridges or cleaning tapes come in different reusability levels so that some may be used for 20-25 cycles whilst others may be used for 50, 70 or 80 cycles. Over-frequent use is neither necessary nor recommended since most drives come with self-cleaning mechanisms and excessive use will reduce drive head life. We offer cleaning cartridges and/or cleaning tapes for AIT, LTO, DLT, SDLT and DDS drives. These cleaning tapes or cartridges are made by Sony, Maxell, Imation, Quantum, HP, Sun, TDK, Fuji and IBM.
